In Solidarity With The Kenosha Community

The Kenosha County Food Bank has suffered with and for the Kenosha community through the horrific aftermath of the shooting of Jacob Blake by police. We deplore the violence and grieve the loss of life. Our mission remains unchanged—to be the bridge between food resources and our network of local hunger-relief organizations in pursuit of healthy food for all.

Recognizing the systemic nature of racism (exposed by the pandemic even before the shooting), we know that poverty, hunger, and poor health are disproportionately affecting our Black neighbors.

We aim to relieve immediate needs with healthy nutrition so that individuals can be better equipped for the journey toward equity.
