FALL

2015

Kenosha County’s Hunger Prevention Council approaches Kenosha County Executive Kreuser with concerns regarding food pantries, waste and conflict.  

2016

The Hunger Task Force completes reviews of food pantry sites in Kenosha County demonstrating sufficient capacity to support a food bank.

2017

Pantries and other collaborators become engaged in a comprehensive food bank planning process.

Spring

2018

Business plan strategy is developed and expanded partnerships emerge.

SUMMER

2018

Business partners engage in project. Kenosha Community Foundation is engaged as fiscal sponsor for the food bank entity.

FALL

2018

Advisory board for food bank is established.

2019

Articles of Incorporation are filed, tax ID assigned for Kenosha County Food Bank, Inc. 

GOAL: 2020

One food bank, supplying 7 pantries and serving 3,000 households each month.
